Bauamt Typographic Artworks
The Bauhaus conceives two-dimensional design as language, which has been declinated by the laws of geometry and perception. László Moholy-Nagy created a symbol for the Bauhaus, consisting of a circle, square and triangle. This is how the Bauamt typeface captures the essence and pays tribute to the Bauhaus movement. Far more than just a symbol emerges from these constructed shapes, shaded in the Itten color circle. A hierarchy of employees and civil servants get their moment in the spotlight.
